COLORPLAK

Colorplak is one of the most reasonably priced alternatives to traditional framing, for most sizes.  Colorplak can be used with regular prints and photographs, but should not be used for original artwork or irreplaceable items. The colorplak finish is non-glare and provides UV protection.

Colorplak is particularly suited for use in children's rooms, bathrooms and kitchens.   Unlike glass which streaks and needs constant wiping under moist conditions, colorplak does not need any special attention.  It is much safer than glass if it should fall.

Great choice of colors for edges

With colorplak, the options are unlimited.  Non-rectangular shapes can be framed, prints can be cut into desired sizes and used as a diptych or triptych. The possibilities are endless.  One can choose not to have an edge to finish the colorplak, and then use the laminated portion as a painting that does not need glass.   For example, for a bathroom:
