HENRY SHIHHenry Yik-Tong Shih was born in Shanghai, China. He found his passion for painting at an early age and was soon taking art lessons with renowned artists in Shanghai. He graduated from the Zheijian Academy in Hangzhou, and became a permanent member of the Chinese Art Association and the Chinese Art Guild. He has held various high-level positions such as Art Curator for the International Lion's Club and Art Director of Jordan Art Company. He is currently in California where his wonderful watercolors are extremely popular. Henry's paintings can be found throughout the world in public museums, famous hotels, and private art collections. We are thrilled to be able to show these outstanding works of art. Henry's style incorporates elements of classical Chinese art as well as impressionist influences. He has a brilliant sense of color and an incredible mastery of the changing moods found within a single moment.
